Why tint your vehicle with SwirlX

Automotive Restyling?

Below you will find in depth knowledge so you can understand the value of product you will be receiving

The Basics:

  • Heat + UV Protection: Keep the cabin cooler and protect interiors from fading and cracking.

  • Glare Reduction & Clarity: Safer, more comfortable driving—especially during Georgia summers.

  • Professional Install & Warranty: Computer-cut patterns, dust-controlled installs, and manufacturer-backed warranties.

Film Types: Ceramic vs. Carbon

Ceramic (Premium Performance)

  • Maximum heat rejection: Advanced nano-ceramic particles block a higher amount of infrared (IR) heat for noticeably cooler cabins.

  • Excellent clarity: Neutral, low-haze look that keeps visibility crisp day and night.

  • Signal-friendly: Won’t interfere with GPS, cellular, or keyless entry.

  • Ideal for: Drivers who want the best temperature control, daily comfort, and long-term interior protection.

Carbon (Great Value)

  • Strong heat + UV performance: Better than dyed films; matte/neutral appearance.

  • Color-stable: Resists fading and turning purple.

  • Budget-friendly upgrade: Solid performance at a lower cost than ceramic.

  • Ideal for: Style, privacy, and UV protection with a friendly price point.

How to Decide Your Shade (VLT%)

VLT = Visible Light Transmission; lower % = darker.

  1. Start with your priorities

    • Cooling & comfort: Lean ceramic; consider 20% on sides, 50% (or lighter) on the windshield for balanced day/night visibility.

    • Privacy & style: Darker sides (e.g., 20% or 5% on rear/sides) with a lighter front for safe visibility.

    • Night driving: Choose lighter shades (e.g., 35% sides, 70–50% windshield ceramic) to reduce eye strain.

  2. Match to your driving

    • Daily commuter/family vehicle: 20% sides with a 50% ceramic windshield is our most popular comfort setup—great heat rejection without feeling “too dark” at night.

    • Performance & show builds: 20% or 5% rears, 35–20% fronts, 70–50% ceramic windshield for a clean, uniform look with heat control.

    • Work trucks & towing: 35–20% sides for visibility when maneuvering; 50–70% ceramic windshield for glare and heat reduction.

  3. Balance day vs. night visibility

    • Darker films increase privacy and reduce glare, but very dark (5%) can feel limiting at night. If you drive a lot after dark, consider 20–35% on the sides and 50–70% on the windshield (ceramic).

Popular Choice: 20% on the side windows + 50% on the windshield (Ceramic).
This combo delivers standout heat rejection, sleek aesthetics, and comfortable night visibility.

Ceramic Window Film

Ceramic window film is the most advanced type of automotive tint available, designed for drivers who want maximum comfort and protection. Unlike standard dyed or metallic films, ceramic tint is constructed using microscopic, non-metallic ceramic particles that are engineered to block out solar heat and harmful UV rays without reducing visibility. This nano-ceramic technology targets and rejects infrared (IR) heat—the part of the sun’s energy you actually feel—making the cabin significantly cooler and more comfortable. Because it contains no metal, ceramic film will not interfere with cell phones, GPS, or keyless entry systems. It also maintains excellent optical clarity, so day and night visibility stays crisp and safe. With superior durability, fade resistance, and industry-leading heat rejection, ceramic tint is widely considered the best choice for performance, longevity, and overall driving experience.

Carbon Window Film

Carbon window film is a step above traditional dyed tint, offering both style and reliable protection at a more affordable price point. It’s made with carbon particles that give the film a rich, matte finish while blocking a significant amount of heat and 99% of harmful UV rays. Unlike dyed films, carbon tint won’t fade or turn purple over time, so your vehicle keeps a clean, consistent look for years. While it doesn’t reject quite as much infrared heat as ceramic film, it still provides excellent comfort, glare reduction, and privacy—making it a smart choice for drivers who want lasting quality without the premium price tag.
